Benjamin Shiau brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to TableOne Hospitality as the General Manager of Kin Gin & Golden Guy in New York City. Starting his career with Starr Restaurants in Philadelphia, he managed iconic venues like the Continental and Buddakan before opening Morimoto's famed restaurant in historic Olde City Philadelphia, where he cemented his love for the restaurant industry. He later joined Chef Morimoto's corporate team, overseeing restaurant openings worldwide, including openings in Hawaii, Morocco, Boston, Seattle, Napa, Florida, and New York City. Benjamin, a certified sommelier, is passionate about sharing his expertise in hospitality, food, and wine through teaching and mentoring. Driven by a commitment to excellence and creating memorable dining experiences, he believes in the transformative power of food as a universal language.
